I am the Genentech Endowed Assistant Professor in Biostatistics at the University of Washington, and an Affiliate Faculty in the Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences (CSSS).
Before joining UW, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Statistics Department of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (mentored by Dylan Small and Sean Hennessy). I obtained my Ph.D. in Statistics from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019 (advisors: Jun Shao, Menggang Yu). I received my bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University in 2015.

My current research focuses on covariate adjustment in randomized controlled trials, Mendelian randomization, and other natural experiment methods for causal inference.
